Woodlawn Hospital wants to bill you correctly. We also need to be paid as soon as possible. This will help keep our costs down.
Please note: You will receive emergency care even if you cannot pay.
Central Billing Office (CBO)
Our Central Billing Office (CBO) sends hospital and clinic bills. Feel free to call for questions about your bill. Staff will answer questions about your bills. Please call (574) 223-BILL (2455) or (574) 223-2001. Staff are available Monday – Thursday 8am to 7pm or Friday 8am to 5pm. You may leave a phone message. If you leave a message include:
patients’ name,
date of service,
account number,
return phone number, and
questions.
We will call our patients to:
help make a plan to pay their bill,
provide loan applications,
take payments by phone, and
help you to fill out the application for our hospital financial assistance program called Compassionate Care.

Woodlawn Hospital offers a Compassionate Care Program which offers help in paying for services provided by our hospital and providers to people who are experiencing financial difficulty and who meet eligibility requirements. To file for this assistance, click here to complete the forms.

About Your Bill
We want to help you with your bill. It is also important that we are paid as soon as possible.
Woodlawn will accept:
collected insurance co-pays;
co-insurance;
deductibles; and
self-pay costs at time of service.
Our staff can help you with your bills. Contact any of the Clinics, Patient Access or the CBO areas. We will keep hospital costs down by not having to mail patient bills and use collection agencies. Please pay your bill as soon as possible. When you register before your procedure our staff can tell you what you will need to pay. You can pay when you pre-register. For questions about what you will need to pay, talk to your insurance company.
