Woodlawn Health is seeking a Cook/Baker to join our Food Service Team! You will be preparing delicious hot foods for our patients, Meals on Wheels, and the Hospital cafeteria! This is a full-time position & Woodlawn has great benefits packages available!
Position Description:
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Update patient cardex as necessary.
- Complete production sheets for next day.
- Assist with patient tray line.
- Take temperatures of hot food items prior to serving and document appropriately.
- Deliver and pickup patient trays.
Qualifications:
- Good customer service skills and pleasant phone technique.
- Ability to read and understand recipes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
- One year of cooking experience, preferably in a health care setting.
Shift: Days/Afternoons
