Woodlawn Health is seeking several friendly, reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative’s to help Woodlawn build this BRAND-NEW role! The ideal candidate should be passionate about helpings others and have strong communication skills with a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment! EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a medical office, call center, hospital or long-term care facility highly recommended, not required.
  • CPR certification or be willing to obtain within 6 months.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills & pleasant phone technique
  • Computer aptitude to do inquiry, data entry and daily system operations.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • As the representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors seeking services within the medical facility. This position is responsible for professionally handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, routing messages, providing general information, and supporting patient access to care.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
  • Verify and update patient demographic information
  • Route clinical messages to appropriate staff or departments
  • Provide patients with information regarding services, office procedures, and appointment preparation.
  • Document patient interactions accurately within the electronic medical record system.
  • Assist patients with referrals, authorizations, and general inquiries.
  • Perform office opening procedures and closing procedures independently as scheduled.
  • Support patient satisfaction by addressing concerns and escalating issues appropriately
  • Meet established productivity, attendance, and quality standards.
