Education and Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN) required;
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, accreditation, regulatory readiness, performance improvement, or related healthcare leadership, including at least two (2) years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
Preferred Certifications:
- CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management).
- CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- CMS Conditions of Participation
- State and Federal healthcare regulations
- Accreditation standards.
- Quality improvement methodologies (PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA)
- Patient Safety Organizations and reporting systems
- Healthcare quality metrics and benchmarking
- Infection prevention and patient safety principles
- Medical staff quality processes
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
