SHIFT: Full-Time / Evening shift 3p-11:30p / Every 3rd weekend

Position Description:

• Sweep and mop floors in patient rooms, offices, and work areas, restrooms and public areas.
• Vacuum and spot clean carpet.
• Polish metal or other bright surfaces.
• Collects and transports waste, cleans and relines trash containers with plastic liners.
• Complete all cleaning of patient rooms & other areas of the hospital.
• Use detergents, disinfectants and other cleaning solutions according to manufacture recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified Hospital Environmental Services Tech (CHEST) certification is desirable within one year from date of hire
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Communicate with patients, guests, and other medical providers in a professional manner.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
