Position Description: Interviews/counsels patients to collect data, advise of insurance benefits, arrange payments according to hospital policy and to obtain signatures. This includes collecting deposits as well as completing financial forms and applications.
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED or relevant experience preferred. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret governmental regulations and documents. Onsite Physician Billing Clerk / Prior medical clinic/hospital insurance billing is required.
