Woodlawn is seeking a Front Desk member to join Argos Medical!  Greet patients and guests as they enter and help them have a great experience from the start.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good communication skills and pleasant phone technique as required handling various telephone and in-person communication with patients, guests, and other medical providers in a professional manner.
  • Computer aptitude to do inquiry, data entry and daily system operations.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a medical office, hospital or long-term care facility strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Computer aptitude to do inquiry, data entry and daily system operations.
  • CPR Certification
  • Math aptitude sufficient to balance and handle cash.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • As the receptionist, you will greet patients and guests in a professional manner responding to questions or requests appropriately.
  • Obtain complete patient demographic and insurance information for system entry and check patients in for appointments in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that all telephone calls are answered promptly and handles or directs the calls appropriately.
  • Performs office opening procedures and closing procedures independently as scheduled.
  • Sort incoming mail and incoming faxes to then distribute accordingly.
  • Schedules appointments according to specified guidelines.
  • Scan necessary patient health information into EHR, and route into corresponding patient charts, ensuring accuracy.  Route incomin electronic faxes in EHR ino patient charts.
  • Handle cash, balance the daily charges and perform daily deposit.  Deliver deposits to bank daily as needed.
