Join the Woodlawn Team as a Maintenance Tech – Evening Shift!

Woodlawn is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for general light maintenance tasks to help ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment. This position is Full time, evening shift, with rotating weekends/holidays.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED or relevant experience preferred but not required.
• Previous experience with maintenance strongly preferred.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License required.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in a multi-task environment where interruptions may be frequent.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning.
• Perform electrical safety testing on equipment according to procedure.
• Perform preventive/routine maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Clean, strip, re-coat, and buff floors.
• Carpet Cleaning, as needed
• Collect, transport, and dispose of waste and re-cycling as to procedure.
• Assist in snow and ice removal as needed.
• Perform routine security functions.
• Be able to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Perform functions to maintain interior/exterior of the hospital’s buildings, grounds, and clinics.
• Paint & perform carpentry work as needed.
• Assist Service Technicians with preventive and routing maintenance as requested.
• Assist Service Technicians with equipment installations and repairs as requested.

Position: Full-time; Evening Shift; 8-hour shifts
