| Position Description: | Assists in the supervision of and participates in a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, the calculation of results, and the maintenance, review, and application of associated computer programs. Maintains the Nuclear Medicine Dept. according to Local, State, and Federal laws pertaining to radioactive materials. Prepares and supervises the administration of radiopharmaceuticals to patients. | |||||
| Qualifications: | Successful completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Training Program with preferable Bachelors Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certifying Board (NMTCB) and/or American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT). Minimum of two years experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures in a hospital environment. Required Licensure with the State of Indiana, if applicable, Basic Life Support Provider. | |||||
