Qualifications:
- Education and training typically found and obtained in PSG, EEG, and/or respiratory programs, RPSGT certified & registered.
- Appropriately licensed/certified by the state of Indiana.
- Must be PC literate.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Possess and maintain Basic Life Support certification. Must obtain BLS prior to direct patient care.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Responsible for electrophysiological monitoring and diagnostic testing in sleep and EEG modalities in the inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings. Some these tests include but are not limited to general diagnostic sleep studies, split-night sleep studies, evoked potential studies, and video monitoring.
- Performs screening, patient hook-ups, equipment interfacing, troubleshooting, and scoring.
- Performs testing on 3 year old patients through geriatric age.
- Processes charges and necessary paperwork on a timely and accurate basis.
