Woodlawn Health has an immediate opening for a full-time, days, Monday- Friday, IS Systems Administrator.

The IS System Administrator is responsible for fully installing, configuring, supporting maintaining and upgrading Woodlawn Health’s network and servers, both physical and virtual. Ensure network security by maintaining a multi-layered security configuration, timely patch management and event logging. Monitor server and network performance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology/Science or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Primary Duties:
- Responsible for fully installing, configuring, supporting maintaining and upgrading Woodlawn Hospital’s network and servers, both physical and virtual.
- Ensure network security by maintaining a multi-layered security configuration, timely patch management and event logging. Recommend policies and best practices for implementation.
- Monitor server and network performance.
- Maintain and record inventory of all computer hardware, software, and peripherals within the organization.
- Responsible for the initial configuration of all laptops/desktops/tablets and all associated peripherals, utilizing product standardization.
- Identify recurring and potential operation problems. Recommend controls for prevention.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with medical staff, peers, employees, and administration to accomplish responsibilities.
- Adhere to hospital and department policies and procedures.
