Biography
Dr. Michael James Brubaker started his academic career at Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Biology. He went to Western Michigan University to become a Physician Assistant and to Michigan State to get his doctorate in osteopathy. He came to work for Woodlawn in 1992.
“I like working for Woodlawn due to the staff and the fact that the hospital continues to remain independent,” He stated.
When asked what he likes about his specialty, he said, “I love the long-term relationships developed with patients and the variety of medical conditions that I get to treat.”
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Brubaker likes farming, forestry, gardening and spending time with his Golden Retrievers.
