Join the Woodlawn Team as a school based Athletic Trainer!

We are seeking an Athletic Trainer who values connection, education, and injury prevention—someone who’s passionate about helping student-athletes stay healthy, recover from injuries, and safely return to play stronger than before!
In this role, you’ll collaborate with coaches, medical professionals, and parents to support the overall health and success of Rochester’s athletic programs. You’ll provide on-site injury assessment, collaborate with rehab professionals to develop and implement rehabilitation plans, educate students on injury prevention, and serve as a trusted resource for athletes and families alike. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Indiana state Athletic Trainer license
- Graduate of a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training (CAATE)
- CPR certification
- Current driver’s license
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Evaluation and treatment of student athletes in the high school setting.
- Maintain required paperwork for each patient.
- Communicate with medical professionals regarding athletes’ goals, treatment, and progress.
- Return student athletes to play in compliance with the Indiana State High School Athletic Association.
- Be in attendance for Rochester Community School Corporation’s athletic events.
Schedule varies due to athletic events.
